I'm assuming since you are reading the About Me section of my blog, you may not know me very well. So here's a little information so you can get to know me! 

My name is Shannon Pere, I am 23. I am from Little Rock, Arkansas. I was homeschooled my whole life. I have two brothers. My parents are sweet. 

Some Random Facts:

• I went to a Bible school in England 2011-2012 and it was incredible. I loved the community, the lectures and the atmosphere. 

• I have a goal of going to 30 countries before I turn 30. I'm ALMOST there! 

• My World Race nickname was "Shanny Pants" I honestly can't tell you how that happened, but I love it. 

• I am passionate about missions and travel, so being able to combine both and go on the World Race was a HUGE dream come true! I went on the Race July 2014 and I was on 4th Generation F Squad! 

• I love Jesus, He is the reason I am on this earth and because of Him I have purpose – to love God, love His people and in turn, tell them about the love of Christ.

• I am a dreamer.

• I love laughter and just funny things and funny people in general.

• I have wanted to go to Africa since I was a little kid and was finally able to go to Uganda in 2009 and 2010. I left a piece of my heart there.

• I love people.

• I love to read and write.

• When I was five years old and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I always said I wanted to be a mom and/or work in an orphanage. Sixteen years later that is still what I want to be. Five year old me knew what was up.

• Coke Zero is my thing. Coke Zero with easy ice from Sonic is really my thing. Buy me a Coke Zero from Sonic and you could be my best friend.

• I talk to myself all the time and will randomly find myself laughing at things I say while talking to myself.

• I enjoy adventure and having to roll with things.

• However, I also really enjoy creating and following lists.

• My family is hilarious and crazy and I am so thankful for them! They make me laugh ALL the time.

• I am so excited about the adventure that the Lord has me on and cannot wait to leave for Antigua, Guatemala in 2016!
